I think Rolex's are pretty overpriced. I am really turned off by the games that the Rolex AD's play. Omega's Aqua Terra is the best everyday watch, according to Gear Patrol, with a black lacquer dial, 150m water resistance and magnetic resistance. Compare it with Rolex's Oyster Perpetual and Datejust in terms of movement, accuracy, power reserve and bracelet. One day, when 3255's derivative, e.g. 3235, come to Rolex's sporty lines, e.g. subs, explorer etc, we may do a more fair comparison of these two brand's work horse movement, i.e. 8500 vs 3235. But then again, consider how SLOW Rolex moves, that'll probably take YEARS.

Well I've actually had both (8400 and 3235) and can confirm there aren't any noticeable differences Omega calibers are not perfect. Co-axial more like a marketing and what I found recently it couldn’t be adjusted perfectly to +1+2 sec. You watch could be precise but it’s a lottery.
